About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor to work with a YouTuber and transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality YouTube videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual flow, with an understanding of what makes content perform well on YouTube.

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging YouTube videos.
  • Add transitions, captions, sound effects, and background music.
  • Trim and rearrange clips to maintain flow and viewer engagement.
  • Align the editing style with the YouTuber’s tone, personality, and content theme.
  • Deliver high-quality videos within given deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing YouTube or social media videos.
  • Strong proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm.
  • Creativity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Experience creating thumbnails or basic motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with YouTube trends and best practices (intros, hooks, retention techniques, etc.).
