Role Summary

The Lead – Telecalling Sales & Growth will head the telecalling sales engine driving growth across ETPrime subscriptions, ET Masterclass, and Yoga & Wellness learning verticals.

The role requires a strategic thinker and strong motivator with deep expertise in sales persuasion, communication psychology, and telecalling operations.

The candidate will build scalable sales frameworks, lead large teams, and deliver measurable growth in conversions and renewals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a telecalling sales team (50–100+ members) to achieve ambitious revenue and conversion targets across ETPrime, ET Masterclass, and Yoga learning programs.
  • Develop and refine sales pitch frameworks customized for digital subscriptions and knowledge-based offerings.
  • Design and execute sales playbooks, incentive models, and training programs to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Implement CRM, dialer, and lead segmentation strategies to maximize sales efficiency.
  • Conduct A / B testing on scripts, tone, and offer positioning to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and CRM teams for funnel optimization and campaign strategy.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics — connects, conversions, renewals, and average order value — and recommend data-backed improvements.
  • Ensure consistent communication quality, empathy, and persuasion in every customer interaction.
  • Build a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous learning across the telecalling team.

Skills, Experience & Expertise

Sales & Leadership :

  • 6–12 years of experience in telecalling or inside sales, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to design persuasive pitches and close high-value conversions.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, target-driven teams across multiple business lines.
  • Operational Excellence :

  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Freshdesk, Zoho) and auto-dialer platforms.
  • Strong command of sales analytics, funnel metrics, and process optimization.
  • Communication & Strategy :

  • Exceptional communication and persuasion skills in English and Hindi.
  • Expertise in sales psychology, empathy-based communication, and consumer behavior.
  • Capable of driving both B2C subscription sales and premium knowledge programs like Masterclass & Yoga.
  • Eligibility

    Education :

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or Communication.

    Experience :

    6–12 years of experience in telecalling / inside sales / revenue growth, preferably in digital media, learning, or subscription-based businesses.

    Preferred Additional Skills

  • Certification or training in Sales Psychology, Behavioral Selling, or Negotiation.
  • Exposure to AI-based sales analytics or call quality platforms.
  • Strong people management and motivational skills.
  • Experience in selling learning or wellness products will be a plus.
