Data Engineer / Solution Architect

Location : Pune / Nagpur (WFO)

Experience Required : 8+ Years

Notice Period : Immediate to Max 30 days only

Must have Skills : Big data environments - Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, Advanced SQL, PySpark and Domain Knowledge - Banking and Finance Domain (MUST HAVE)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Data Engineer / Solution Architect with strong expertise in both technical and functional aspects of Banking and Finance. The ideal candidate will have a balanced background of 50% technical and 50% functional expertise, with proven ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, architect, and implement high-performance data solutions for large-scale banking and finance systems.
Optimize and maintain big data environments using Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, Advanced SQL, and PySpark.
Translate complex business requirements into actionable data strategies and technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed data processing systems.
Work closely with stakeholders to align data engineering solutions with business objectives.
Ensure scalability, performance, and security of enterprise data solutions.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering best practices in data engineering.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in data engineering / solution architecture.

Strong hands-on expertise in Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, Advanced SQL, and PySpark.

Proven experience in database optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.

Solid functional knowledge of the Banking and Finance domain (especially CASA products).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
