Painting Supervisor
Summary :
The Painting Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of painting operations on construction-based projects, including Topside, Jackets, and Sub sea Structures. This position requires a hands-on leader with extensive field experience in industrial coating applications and a proven ability to manage teams, enforce technical standards, and drive project timelines. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of painting execution, from material preparation to final inspection, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry best practices. This role is essential to maintaining structural integrity and long-term performance of critical marine and offshore assets.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate painting teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution of coating applications.
- Ensure all painting activities comply with project specifications, technical standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-job planning, material verification, and surface preparation checks.
- Monitor and manage the use of paint materials, ensuring proper handling, storage, and application techniques.
- Perform quality inspections and coordinate with QA / QC teams for defect identification and corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to painting crew members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, material usage, and non-conformance reports.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on deliverables and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety protocols throughout all painting operations.

Supervisory Experience : Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacityForeman Experience : Minimum 10 years in painting-related worksProven experience working on Topside, Jackets, or Sub sea Structures.In-depth knowledge of paint materials, coating systems, and application techniques.Strong understanding of surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC, ISO, NACE).Proficient in English communication (written and verbal).Basic computer skills, including email usage and documentation.Ability to work in challenging offshore or remote site environments.Valid certifications relevant to safety and coating application (e.g., SSPC, NACE, OSHA) are highly desirable.Benefits
