Retail Procurement Manager

We are seeking a proactive Retail Procurement Manager to lead vendor management and sourcing initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of goods and services in alignment with project requirements and organizational objectives.

Key Result Areas (KRAs) & Supporting Actions :

• Procurement Strategy & Planning - Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Continuously review procurement policies and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supplier Identification & Sourcing - Identify, evaluate, and source potential suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Vendor Relationship Management - Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor vendor performance and conduct periodic evaluations based on quality, timelines, and pricing.
• Coordination & Project Delivery - Coordinate with vendors to ensure delivery of quality products / services within project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Negotiation & Cost Management - Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions with vendors to optimize cost and value.
• Ensure commercial agreements are compliant with company policies and governance standards.
• Continuous Improvement & Compliance - Proactively identify process gaps and implement improvements in vendor management.
• Ensure adherence to procurement standards, legal compliance, and organizational policies.
