• Job Description :

As a 3D Artist at Voyage Eyewear, you will play a crucial role in the creation of visually stunning and technically precise 3D assets and environments. You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to produce high-quality work that meets our artistic and technical standards. Your responsibilities will include :

1.

• 3D Modeling and Sculpting :
• Create detailed 3D models of characters, objects, and environments based on concept art, reference images, or specifications.
• Use industry-standard software such as Maya, Blender, or ZBrush to sculpt, texture, and refine 3D assets with a focus on realism and visual impact.

2.

• Texturing and Shading :
• Apply textures, materials, and shaders to 3D models to achieve the desired look and feel.
• Utilize advanced texturing techniques such as PBR (Physically Based Rendering) to ensure consistency and accuracy in material representation.

3.

• Lighting and Rendering :
• Set up lighting and render scenes to enhance mood, atmosphere, and storytelling.
• Optimize rendering settings and parameters to achieve high-quality output within project constraints.

4.

• Animation and Rigging (Optional, if applicable) :
• Create animations for characters and objects, including rigging and skinning if necessary.
• Collaborate with animators and riggers to ensure smooth integration of 3D assets into animations.

5.

• Collaboration and Communication :
• Work closely with art directors, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively and proactively contribute ideas and solutions to creative challenges.
• Requirements :
• Proven experience as a 3D Artist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, V-Ray).
• Solid understanding of fundamental artistic principles including form, composition, color theory, and lighting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain quality and consistency across multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Graphics, Animation, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Experience with real-time rendering engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation and workflow optimization.
• Familiarity with VR (Virtual Reality) or AR (Augmented Reality) development concepts and workflows.
