Role Overview
Some nights, you’ll be deep inside GA4 dashboards figuring out why CTR dropped after a layout change. Other nights, you’ll be on a late call with a U.S. brand, presenting insights from an A / B test that just lifted conversions by 18%.
This isn’t a campaign manager role, it’s about owning the entire post-click experience . You’ll combine your performance marketing brain with a CRO mindset to design, test, and scale what actually moves numbers for brands.
At Troopod, we’re building an AI-led product that auto‑generates and optimizes landing pages for every ad. You’ll work directly with global DTC brands, tech, and design teams to validate what works and help shape how performance marketing and website optimization converge.
If you can talk CAC, CTR, CVR, and ROAS in the same sentence and you know how to fix them, this role will feel like home.
Responsibilities
1. Own Pilot Success
Manage end‑to‑end CRO pilots with U.S. brands — from setup to measurable results
Diagnose leaks in the funnel using GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Hotjar, and session data
Present insights and results directly to founders, CMOs, and growth teams
2. Lead Conversion Optimization
Analyze ad → landing page → checkout journeys to spot friction points
Create hypotheses, set up A / B or multivariate tests, and measure uplift
Work with designers and developers to deploy CRO fixes quickly
3. Bridge Ads and Product
Sync with brand’s media teams to ensure landing pages match campaign intent
Translate ad‑level learnings into on‑site personalization or creative changes
Collaborate with Troopod’s AI & product teams to automate optimization logic
4. Run Performance Experiments
Test new layouts, offers, CTAs, and creatives to improve ROAS and CVR
Track experiments, interpret data, and turn winning patterns into playbooks
Build and maintain dashboards to monitor pilot performance
5. Drive AI Agent Iterations Fine-tune the AI agent using real brand scenarios
Continuously improve prompt quality and output accuracy
Upload / update brand documents, ad assets, CRO briefs, etc., to improve RAG quality
6. GTM & Insights Loop
Convert pilot results into marketing narratives and internal case studies
Share findings that inform Troopod’s product roadmap and GTM strategy
Standardize frameworks for scaling pilots across verticals
Qualifications
2+ years in a performance marketing / CRO‑focused role (agency or D2C startup experience preferred)
Deep expertise in conversion funnels, A / B testing, landing page UX, and behavioral analytics
Strong experience with Shopify, Meta Ads, GA4, Hotjar , A / B testing and other CRO tools
Proven ability to analyze campaign + site data and translate into actionable changes
Comfortable working with designers, developers, and marketers
Strong communication skills, able to simplify data into stories that sell
Willingness to work late‑night shifts with U.S. clients
Bonus Points For
Prior role in growth or performance marketing where you owned results
Experience with tools like VWO, Mixpanel, PostHog, or Optimizely
Hands-on exposure to Shopify Plus or high‑traffic eCommerce sites
Experience running CRO programs at scale or leading pilot projects
Understanding of AI‑led personalization and website automation
Experience in working with AI agents, prompt engineering, and RAG workflows
