Our flagship Auto2D RPA platform automates the generation of Engineering Drawings for Mechanical Systems and Components. Auto2D RPA leverages scalable cloud-based processing to transform 3D models to 2D Engineering Drawings or Annotated 3D models in hours rather than weeks. By automating manual 2D attributing, Design Teams can significantly reduce costs, save thousands of project hours, and eliminate redundant quality control. Auto2D RPA meets various OEM Design Standards for industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, and Heavy Industry applications.

Role Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced NX automation and engineering solutions that streamline design workflows and improve efficiency across the organization.

Job Title : NX Customization Engineer

Location : Chennai (Hybrid / Remote - WFH)

Experience : 3 - 6 / 5 - 9 Years

Key Responsibilities

Develop and build custom NX toolbar commands and external applications using C#.NET.
Design and implement Block Styler-based UIs and work with custom .NET interfaces like ObjectListView .
Develop feature recognition-based algorithms using NXOpen interfaces and topology-based NX API s.
Create engineering automation applications to generate and manage NX Drafting elements .
Work with XML and JSON data structures for configuration and application customization.
Maintain and enhance the Vectra NX Library to ensure reliability and improved functionality.
Apply OOP principles and Design Patterns to maintain high-quality, reusable, and efficient code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop applications supporting the Auto2D workflow.
Build and maintain Quality Checking applications for the Vectra Design Team.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile or Mechatronics Engineering.

Knowledge on CAD Software's like NX Open, CATIA V5.

Experience : 4-10 years of experience in advanced CAD Customization or a related role.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in CAD tools - NXOpen, UFunc, and NX API

Proficiency in Coding - C# .Net

Experience with CAD Modeling , Drafting , 3D models, 3D to 2D conversion are Mandatory

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Other Requirements : Familiarity with Topology and Geometry
