Job Title : Data Migration Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Data Migration Developer to support the migration of data from Oracle databases to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database management, ETL processes, and data quality assurance, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and a seamless transition into Salesforce. This role requires a mix of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Analyze existing Oracle database structures and data to identify migration requirements.
Design and implement data mapping and transformation strategies aligned with business and technical needs.
Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Salesforce.
Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues throughout the migration process.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to gather and clarify requirements.
Document migration processes, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in data migration, database development, or related roles.

Strong expertise in Oracle database technologies (SQL, PL / SQL).

Proven hands-on experience with ETL tools and migration frameworks.

Solid understanding of data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques.

Familiarity with data modeling and schema design principles.

Ability to analyze and resolve complex data issues quickly and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality.

Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certification in Oracle Database or related technologies.

Experience working with Salesforce data structures and APIs.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards.
