We are looking for a skilled and experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in application support, troubleshooting, and maintenance , with a strong understanding of .NET technologies and SQL Server . This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application functionality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for business-critical applications.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve application-related issues in a timely manner.
- Work closely with development teams to address bugs, performance issues, and enhancements .
- Monitor application performance and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Manage and optimize SQL Server databases , including query performance tuning and debugging.
- Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions for recurring issues.
- Support application deployments, updates, and patches in collaboration with the DevOps team.
- Maintain incident and change management documentation to ensure compliance with business processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
5-8 years of experience in application support and troubleshooting.Strong knowledge of .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web API, MVC, etc.).Expertise in SQL Server , including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience in application monitoring, debugging, and performance analysis .Good understanding of incident management, change management, and ITIL processes .Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.Preferred Skills :
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) .Knowledge of automation tools to improve efficiency in application support tasks.Skills Required
