DVP - Assistant Finance Controller Summary :
The Assistant Finance Controller MIS Head will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, reporting for the company. This role involves leading a team of professionals & overseeing financial reporting, regulatory reporting, compliance, and MIS functions to ensure accurate and timely insights for decision-making and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Reporting & Control
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and RBI guidelines.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Managing Quarterly Statutory & Internal Audits
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.
- Managing the requirements from lenders, shareholders & Due diligence process
2. MIS & Business Intelligence
Lead the MIS function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial and operational metrics.Develop dashboards and analytical reports for senior management and board reviews.Ensuring various MIS & dashboards are prepared & published to the management on time.3. Compliance & Audit
Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory, and internal audits and Regulatory reportingAddress audit observations and implement corrective actions.4. Taxation & Regulatory Reporting
Oversee direct tax computation & DTA / DTL computationsEnsure timely submission of RBI returns and other regulatory filings.5. Process Improvement & Controls
Strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.Drive automation and digitization of finance processes.Implement best practices in financial governance.Qualifications & Experience :
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-10 years of experience in NBFC or BFSI sector.Strong understanding of Ind AS, RBI regulations, and financial systems.Experience in MIS reporting and data analytics.Skills & Competencies :
