Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Deployment

  • Architect and deploy VCF environments (management / workload domains).
  • Configure NSX (logical switching, routing, firewalls).
  • Set up vSAN clusters with fault domains and storage policies.
  • Deploy VMware Aria Suite : Operations, Automation, Lifecycle, and Networks.

Migration Projects

  • Lead migrations from legacy infrastructure to VCF.
  • Use tools like HCX, vMotion, SRM for seamless transitions.
  • Conduct assessments, create runbooks, and rollback plans.

    • Automation & Operations

  • Automate provisioning with Aria Automation (vRA).
  • Monitor using Aria Operations (vROps) and Networks (vRNI).
  • Build workflows with vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).

    • Support & Optimization

  • Post-deployment support and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot across compute, storage, and network layers.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

    • Documentation & Training

  • Create HLD / LLD, SOPs, and migration guides.
  • Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • 5+ years in enterprise virtualization / cloud infrastructure.
  • Expertise in :
  • VCF lifecycle management
  • NSX-T / NSX-V design and microsegmentation
  • vSAN implementation and capacity planning
  • VMware Aria Suite (Operations, Automation, Orchestrator, Lifecycle)
  • Strong knowledge of vSphere 6.x / 7.x / 8.x, vCenter, ESXi
  • Experience with HCX, SRM, and large-scale migrations
  • Familiarity with PowerCLI, Ansible, Python (preferred)
