Job descriptionStrong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP) and their database offerings Knowledge of database backup, restore, and disaster recovery fundamentals Awareness of database security best practices Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn Strong communication and teamwork abilities Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner / Azure Fundamentals / Google Cloud Digital Leader) will be an added advantage Academic projects or internships involving database management Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize databases hosted on cloud platforms.
Main Responsibilities :

- Provision, configure, and maintain cloud-hosted databases
- Monitor database performance and availability
- Evaluate and implement data security, backup, and recovery processes
- Support database migration to the cloud from on-premises systems
- Create users, roles, and permission policies for database access
- Troubleshoot basic database issues with senior DBA guidance
- Document procedures, configurations, and operational best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for database-related needs
