DevOps Engineer

Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field . Strong experience with Linux / Unix systems administration . Proficiency in CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, CircleCI, or Bamboo). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes , and container orchestration. Familiarity with scripting / programming languages (Python, Bash, or Go). Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket). Understanding of networking, load balancing, and system security principles. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog). Knowledge of serverless computing , microservices , and event-driven architectures . Familiarity with database management (SQL / NoSQL). Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer , Azure DevOps Engineer Expert , or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) . Experience with Agile / Scrum environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage CI / CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth code releases and system integrations .
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues in real-time.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and data protection across environments.
- Participate in incident management , root cause analysis, and postmortem reviews.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and best practices.
