About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP PAPM Techno-Functional Lead to join our dynamic team. This is a critical role that blends deep functional understanding of cost and revenue allocation principles with hands-on technical expertise in SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM). The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing PaPM solutions, primarily focusing on allocation and calculation models. You will work in a cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with stakeholders and clients to deliver robust and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP PaPM models for complex cost and revenue allocation scenarios, with a preference for experience in the Pharma and MedTech domains.
  • Perform hands-on configuration and development within SAP PaPM, including the creation of allocation and calculation models by effectively sourcing and integrating data from various systems.
  • Utilize a wide range of PaPM functions and objects such as Model table, View, Join, Query, Reclassification Function (RFA), Writer, and other calculation functions to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Implement diverse data sourcing strategies within PaPM, integrating data from both internal PaPM sources and external systems like SAP HANA and SAP BW, to ultimately facilitate comprehensive reporting.
  • Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring solution alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive solutions in a cross-functional project environment, effectively managing expectations and communications with various stakeholders and clients.
  • Actively participate in and lead phases of System Integration Testing (SIT) and overall Integration Testing, ensuring the quality and integrity of the implemented solutions.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for profitability and performance management within the SAP ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have) :

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in SAP, with a significant focus on profitability and performance management solutions.
  • Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in Cost and Revenue Allocation methodologies, particularly within the Pharma and MedTech industries.
  • Proven hands-on experience in the creation and configuration of SAP PaPM models for allocations and calculations, including expertise in data sourcing and integration.
  • In-depth technical proficiency in using various PaPM functions and object types, including Joins, Allocations, Calculations, Model table, View, Query, RFA (Reclassification Function), and Writer.
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple data sourcing approaches within PaPM, as well as integrating data from external systems such as SAP HANA and SAP BW, for effective reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional project environment, showcasing strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills to drive successful solution delivery.
  • Active involvement and experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) and broader Integration Testing phases of project lifecycles.

    • Good to Have Skills :

  • Working experience with JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
  • Familiarity with Change and Release Management processes, ideally using SAP Solution Manager (Charm).
