IBM ODM - GBS

Seeking an experienced IBM ODM Developer to design, develop, and maintain business rules applications using IBM Operational Decision Manager. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to implement dynamic rule-based solutions that can adapt to evolving business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Analyse business requirements and convert them into technical rule specifications.

Design, develop, and deploy decision services using IBM ODM (Decision Center & Decision Server).

Create and manage BOM (Business Object Models) and XOM (Execution Object Models).

Develop and manage complex rule flows, decision tables, action rules, and rule artifacts.

Collaborate with business analysts and SMEs to understand the requirements.

Integrate rule services with enterprise applications via REST / SOAP APIs.

Perform unit and integration testing of business rules.

Manage rule versioning and governance in Decision Center.

Troubleshoot performance and logic issues in rule execution.

Participate in Agile development practices and provide input for continuous improvement.

Required Skills :

4+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ODM (version 8.10 or higher preferred).

Strong Java programming and object-oriented design experience.

Proficient in developing and managing BOM / XOM, rule flows, and decision operations.

Experience with Rule Designer, Decision Center, and Decision Server.

Familiarity with API integration (REST / SOAP).

Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology
