Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (4-7 years) to join our team in Hyderabad. If you have expertise in Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) and a passion for streamlining healthcare processes, this is your chance to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Patient Registrations : Streamline patient registration and data capture processes.
  • EMR : Support and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards for Electronic Medical Records systems.
  • LIS : Improve lab test management and reporting.
  • RIS : Enhance imaging order and result management in Radiology Information Systems.
  • Insurance Claims : Optimize the insurance claims process and resolve disputes.
  • Reports : Create actionable reports for decision-making in healthcare teams.

HIPAA Compliance : Ensure adherence to HIPAA privacy rules in HIS systems.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Information Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Business Analysis within healthcare IT (specifically HIS systems).
  • Strong knowledge of EMR, LIS, RIS , and Insurance Claims Management .
  • Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient data privacy practices.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (IT, clinical, administrative).

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong communication (written & verbal) skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows and system integration.
  • Experience with Agile or similar project management methodologies.
  • Good Documentation Skills : Adept at creating clear, concise documentation (BRDs, FSDs, test cases).
  • Requirements Management : Strong ability to handle scope, timelines, and release management effectively.
  • Experience in developing Functional Test Cases , BRD , and FSD documentation.
  • Database Skills : Preferred familiarity with database management and query techniques.
