Work with PMs and other parties to ensure smooth project / programme set up.
Ensure PDF compliance using appropriate repositories and data.
Maintain quality data.
Develop and drive standard processes for cost / resource / schedule / risk management across large programme(s) and / or portfolio(s).
Ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, reviewed and approved.
Produce project reports and ensure that status reporting is fit for purpose and communicated effectively.
Track and manage progress, dependencies, deviation, risks and issues.
Maintain change logs.
Ensure effective usage of the PMO environment and toolset.
Support the PM to develop a baseline schedule, manage their resource plan, create a project budget and work through approval processes to agree the budget.
Track, report on, and reconcile actual costs and revenues across the project lifecycle.
Coordinate mandatory reviews and audits on schedule and according to procedure.
Track recommendations / actions to address shortcomings.
Ensure that projects are formally closed and reviewed and lessons learned are captured and actioned.
Onboard new Project Managers to the PDF.
Manage the project Governance structure.
Support the PM to generate effective reporting and presentation material.
Support PM and PMO staff to develop the critical skills and characteristics required for success.
Drive contingency management, control project costs and schedule, monitor project risks, resources and scope.
Serve as the central reporting resource for the PMO team with expertise in Power BI reporting, SAP systems, and project finance processes and reporting.
