About the role As Full stack Engineer (Senior), you’ll execute and iterate the core components that drive Iksa’s 1->
10 product strategy. You’ll manage end‑to‑end delivery : from building user‑facing experiences with MERN stack to architecting back‑end services in Python, deploying to AWS, and leveraging a graph‑database (Neo4j) to model our proprietary Knowledge graph. You’ll collaborate with product, data & testing teams, and mentor more junior engineers.
This is more about execution than about process—it’s about balance between repeatable patterns and speed
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable AI / web applications : frontend (ReactJS / TypeScript) and backend (Python, microservices)
Build and optimize graph data models using Neo4j for relationship‑intensive healthcare domains (recommendations, relevance, knowledge graphs)
Deploy services on AWS : serverless or containerized architectures, leveraging services such as API Gateway, S3, RDS / Aurora, EC2, MongoDB, etc.
Define and implement RESTful and / or GraphQL APIs, ensuring performance, scalability, security and maintainability
Collaborate with UX / design, product, data engineering : translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation
Mentor and guide other engineers : code reviews, architectural discussions, best practices, knowledge sharing
Troubleshoot production issues, drive reliability improvements, lead technical discussions on trade‑offs and future architecture
What we're looking for
6 - 8 years of full‑stack software engineering experience
Strong frontend proficiency : ReactJS (ideally with TypeScript), ability to build responsive UI, good UX awareness
Deep backend expertise : Python (Flask, FastAPI or equivalent), building scalable services, microservices architecture
Solid experience working with Neo4j (graph database) : designing graph schemas, writing / optimizing Cypher queries, handling graph‑data workflows
Strong AWS experience : you’ve used AWS services in production, understand cloud architecture, serverless vs container trade‐offs, security / identity (IAM), networking fundamentals
Knowledge of REST (or GraphQL) API design, web‑sockets optionally, data modelling, performance tuning
Excellent debugging, performance‑tuning, security and system design skills
Good communication skills, cross‑functional collaboration, mentorship and leadership mindset
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice‑to‑Haves
Experience with domain modelling involving graph networks
Working with event‑driven architectures (SQS, SNS, Kafka) or serverless pipelines
Familiarity with observability / monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience working in startup / scale‑up environments : rapid iteration, ambiguity, high ownership
Location : We are a remote-first org, experience working in multiple time zones(USA, India, SEA) is a plus
