Job Title : Java + AWS Developer

Location : Tharamani, Chennai / UB City, Bengaluru

Experience Required : 4 to 10 years

Work Mode : Hybrid Work From Office 1 to 2 weeks per month

Employment Type : Full-time

About the Role :

Vikgol is looking for a talented and experienced Java + AWS Developer to join our Mobility Engineering team. You'll work on solving complex, real-world problems in the mobility, safety, and convenience services space alongside a highly collaborative team of software engineers, data scientists, and product owners.

This is a high-impact role where youll help design and build scalable microservices using modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs using Java
Develop and maintain microservices architecture and integrate with AWS services
Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code
Use AWS technologies like Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB to build resilient systems
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning
Own the deployment process using CI / CD pipelines
Collaborate closely with product owners to understand business requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software components
Work in an Agile environment focused on continuous delivery and feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications :

4 - 10 years of hands-on software development experience

Proficient in Java and modern Java frameworks

Strong experience in AWS services : Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB

Solid understanding of microservices architecture

Experience with CI / CD, containerization, and modern software delivery practices

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice to Have :

Experience working in startup or product-led environments

Exposure to mobility or transportation domains

Passion for building scalable cloud-native applications
