Managing the day-to-day borrowings accounting for Term Loan, Debenture, Subordinated Debt, Commercial Paper etc. by using FinMechanics (FM) software.Timely completion of finance charges like interest expenses, processing fee and others ancillary expenditure directly attributable to borrowings and related amortization (EIR as per Ind AS 109)Managing the day-to-day Investment accounting for Treasury Bill, Government Securities, Reverse Repo, Fixed Deposit etc and related interest income and accruals.Handling of FinMechanics software on daily basis which includes checking of accounting reports generated from FM and uploading in the oracle fusion system using oracle interface report.Complete control on Bank Reconciliation includes reconciliation of bank books with bank statements, accurate reporting of open items and coordination with treasury team.Reconciliation of operational control accounts, coordinating with operations and collection team for differences and monthly report to management.Working experience on any excel reconciliation tool / automated application of bank and control account reconciliation is required. Continuous improvision on software functionalities for fine-tuning is a must have skill.Responsible for completing BRS MIS on a routine basis along with GL reconciliation of other control accountsCollaborating with internal and external auditors to facilitate BRS audits, Borrowings, Investments, Interest & Finance charges reviews to ensure compliance with auditing standards and the implementation of recommended corrective actions and best practices.Desired Profile
1. Educational Qualification : CA inter and bachelor’s degree in accounts.
2. Experience : 4-5 years of experience in Financial Accounting, with a focus on managing day-to-day accounting entries, MIS and reconciliations, preferably in the financial services industry.
3. Analytical Abilities : Analytical skills required to interpret high volume financial data, make presentations for seniors
4. Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and employees at all levels within the organization.
