Job Opening : Android Developer (2+ Years Experience)

Location : Mumbai (In-office only)

Type : Full-Time

Salary : [Based on experience]

We are looking for a dynamic Android Developer with around 2 years of experience who can design beautiful UIs, build high-quality Android apps in Kotlin, and also develop backend APIs in Python. The ideal candidate has strong UI / UX sense, has built and showcased at least one demo Android app, and is excited to integrate AI-powered features.

Responsibilities

  • Build Android applications with a focus on modern, user-friendly UI.
  • Use Kotlin (and Java when needed) with Jetpack Compose / Material Design to create engaging interfaces.
  • Integrate AI APIs and SDKs (TensorFlow Lite, ML Kit, OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).
  • Build and maintain backend APIs using Python (FastAPI / Flask / Django).
  • Ensure apps are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
  • Debug, test, and iterate quickly with the team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Android development experience.
  • Strong skills in Kotlin and modern Android UI development (Jetpack Compose, XML, Material Design guidelines).
  • Mandatory : Must have built at least one demo Android app and be able to show it.
  • Hands-on experience with Python backend development (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
  • Knowledge of REST API design and integration.
  • Exposure to AI / ML APIs or SDKs.
  • Familiar with MVVM / MVI architecture and Jetpack components.
  • Proficient with Git, CI / CD, and testing frameworks.

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with animations, custom views, and advanced UI interactions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Prior work on AI-enabled mobile apps (chatbots, vision, NLP, etc.).
  • This is a high-growth role for someone who wants to own the complete Android app experience (UI + backend) and build next-gen AI-powered apps.
