A US Bookkeeping Executive manages business tax processes, bookkeeping, and ensures compliance with US tax laws for organizations, with a comfortable ability to handle both bookkeeping and business taxation responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file US business tax returns and related compliance documentation for corporations, LLCs, and partnerships.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including entering transactions, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local business tax regulations, staying updated on US tax law changes.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders for tax planning, audits, and advisory matters.
- Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities in line with legal requirements.
- Support internal financial reporting with a strong tax focus, including deferred tax calculations and reconciliations.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and support the resolution of tax matters or audits.
- Maintain organized and thorough tax and bookkeeping documentation for review and audit purposes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification preferred.2+ years of experience in US business tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial accounting.Sound knowledge of federal and state tax laws and business tax filing requirements.Proficient with bookkeeping tools and tax software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar systems.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Desired Skills
