Job descriptionDevelop and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Cypress (JavaScript / TypeScript). Collaborate with QA, Dev and DevOps teams to ensure seamless automation integration within CI / CD pipelines. Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and API testing to validate product quality. Participate in test planning, estimation, and defect triage during Agile sprints. Analyze test results, debug failures, and identify root causes in collaboration with development teams. Contribute to automation best practices, code reviews, and documentation. 3–5 years of overall QA experience with at least 2+ years in Cypress automation. Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, and front-end testing methodologies. Solid understanding of web application architecture, APIs, and RESTful services. Experience integrating automation with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions. Familiarity with BDD / TDD frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Cucumber). Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and Agile project tools (JIRA, Confluence). Strong debugging and analytical skills to identify test or application issues. Exposure to API automation (Postman, Newman, or RestAssured). Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Knowledge of performance or visual regression testing tools. Awareness of Docker or containerized test environments.
