POSITION SUMMARY

The UI / UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and accessible user interfaces and interactions across both web and mobile platforms.

This individual will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate user needs, technical requirements, and brand guidelines into compelling design solutions.

The role involves user research, prototyping, and iterative testing to ensure a seamless end-to-end user experience.

Operating within a global product development team, the UI / UX Designer will influence design standards and best practices that scale across multiple regions and diverse user demographics.

Ultimately, this position contributes to achieving business goals by enhancing user satisfaction, driving product adoption, and advancing the overall user experience strategy.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • User Research & Analysis : Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user behaviors, pain points, and preferences, and translate findings into actionable design insights. 25
  • Interaction & Visual Design : Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for both web and mobile platforms, adhering to established design systems and branding guidelines. 30
  • Design System & Accessibility : Maintain and refine a scalable design system, ensuring designs meet accessibility standards and can be applied consistently across global markets. 20
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle, providing clear design specifications and feedback to ensure design intent is met. 15
  • Continuous Improvement : Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve design processes, tools, and outcomes. 10

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience designing for web and mobile applications, preferably within a software product development environment.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions, visual design sensibilities, and proficiency in interaction design.
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    Indicate the technical skills required and / or preferred, as applicable.

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Understanding of HTML / CSS fundamentals to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with user research methodologies, analytics tools, and usability testing frameworks.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions and rationale.
