Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Node.js Developer Intern based in Bhopal. We are looking for a Backend Intern with 6 months of practical experience in Node.js and databases (MySQL / MongoDB) to support backend development and API services.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Work with MySQL for relational schema design and CRUD operations.
  • Work with MongoDB for document-based data operations.
  • Implement basic authentication, authorization, and API validations.
  • Debug and optimize backend logic and queries.
  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams on feature development.
  • Follow coding guidelines, write clean API structures, and use Git for version control.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Practical experience with Node.js and Express.js.
  • Basic MySQL knowledge (queries, joins, schema design).
  • Basic MongoDB knowledge (CRUD, collections, indexing basics).
  • Understanding of REST API principles.
  • Git workflow knowledge.

    • Good to Have

  • Familiarity with Sequelize, Prisma, or Mongoose.
  • Basic knowledge of Postman or API testing tools.
  • Exposure to JWT / Auth concepts.
  • Interest in DevOps or deployment (AWS, Render, etc.).
