Role Overview
We are hiring for the role of Chief of Staff, for one of our clients, a Leading Law Firm, based in Mumbai.
The profile : a highly driven and strategic Chief of Staff to partner closely with the Managing Partner, & the leadership team of Partners. In this role, you will act as both a strategic advisor and operational leader , helping shape key priorities and ensuring seamless execution across the organization.
The ideal candidate is analytical, structured, and execution-focused, with strong experience in strategy, program management, and executive-level support . You will play a pivotal role in driving organizational alignment, improving operational efficiency, and enabling leadership effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Partner with the Managing Partner to shape annual and quarterly strategic priorities.
- Drive key strategic projects end-to-end with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Translate high-level strategy into operational plans for cross-functional teams.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market research, competitive analysis, and business data.
2. Executive Advisory & Decision Support
Prepare briefs, dashboards, and analysis to support high-quality executive decision-making.Review proposals, business plans, and major initiatives before they reach the CEO.Act as a thought partner on business expansion, organizational effectiveness, and long-term planning.3. Program & Project Management
Lead critical cross-functional initiatives impacting growth, cost optimization, or organizational scale.Establish PMO structures, governance, and regular reviews for strategic projects.Resolve bottlenecks, manage interdependencies, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.4. Leadership Enablement & Organizational Alignment
Facilitate leadership meetings, OKR reviews, and business cadence rhythms.Ensure seamless communication flow across executive leadership and teams.Build alignment across teams on priorities, deadlines, and resource allocation.Represent the CEO in internal meetings where needed.5. Operations Excellence
Identify process gaps across teams and drive operational improvements.Oversee special initiatives such as performance management, culture programs, and transformation projects.Work with HR, Finance, and Operations to streamline workflows and governance.6. Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (CXOs, business heads, functional leaders).Manage external relationships including consultants, partners, investors, and key customers.Prepare presentations and materials for board meetings, investor reviews, and strategic partnerships.Key Requirements
Experience
10–12 years of total experience, ideally in :Management consultingCorporate strategy / CEO’s officeProgram management (PMO)High-growth startups or enterprise strategyExperience working directly with senior executives (CXO level) is preferred.Skills & Competencies

MBA from a top-tier institute preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, or related fields.
