Summary of Job :

Teach Mathematics for Post graduate, Undergraduate degree and diploma courses as per the University curriculum, evaluation and other academic / administrative activities.

Job Knowledge : Strong knowledge of Mathematics core courses in domains related to Calculus, Vector Analysis ,Logic and Set Theory Probability and Statistics Discrete Mathematics Linear Algebra / Matrices, Coordinate Geometry

Job Responsibilities :

1. Teaching and covering the curriculum as designed and outlined by the university by adhering to the rules and regulations

2. Creating, developing and implementing innovative teaching pedagogy for better and easy understanding to take industry related problems as practical teaching.

3. Monitoring and observing the students attendance, progress and assessments

4. Preparing various kinds of reports by evaluating and grading the students based on their assessment

5. Keeping in touch with current trends by reading the latest articles published in different magazines or other relevant literature and update his academic delivery accordingly and continuous upgradation by attending FDPs.

6. To assist the students in the recruitment and also advise them regarding their career decisions

7. Should also continue with the research work in the field. He / She should be well-acquainted with and publish it.

8. Responsible for timely preparation and submission of the required budget plans

9. Responsible for Academic & administrative duties as per the task assigned by the Dean or University authorities

10. Responsible for implementing the updated guidelines time to time in order to raise the standards of the curriculum.

11. Should be technically savvy and Moodle friendly.

Skills :

1. Exposure to tools and technologies used for Matrix manipulation, plotting of functions and data, 2D and 3D visualization, Statistics such as MATLAB, GNU Octave, Scilab

2. Strong programming skills in two or more programming languages - C, Python, R

Education Qualifications Required :

M.Sc (Mathematics) with 60% Marks + NET Qualified and Ph.D

Experience :

3 to 5 years of teaching and research experience in a University or higher education institution including colleges under a recognized University
