Best fit profile

Knowledge in handling and troubleshooting purification methods at small scale and pilot scale
Various Chromatography techniques like Ion exchange, Affinity, HIC etc.
Ultrafiltration – TFF (Hollow Fiber / Cassettes).
Should be well versed with FPLC, AKTA- Process, AKTA- Pilot.

Responsibilities

Purification method development, optimization, & execution for bacterial & viral vaccines.

Experience in Cell lysis, different chromatography platform, TFF system, Filtration unit and other unit operations used in protein purification.

Purification method optimization and development for protein expressing in E.coli and mammalian cell culture.

Execution of In –House Calibration of AKTA System, spectrophotometer, Auto pipettes, Weighing balance and supervision of In –House Calibration of pH / conductivity meter.

Execution of scale up & scale down experiment for purification of Vaccines and biologics to obtain high yield & quality product.

Downstream Process development, optimization & scale up of different vaccine bulk (Dengue Vaccine, Hepatitis A Vaccine and E.coli, BPBC / CEPI Vaccine).

Co-ordination with technology transfer of production process and prioritization of tasks and completion of those in a timely manner.

Any other responsibilities as assigned by R&D Head.

Literature, research paper review and its implementation of new ideas.

Preparation of process development report, process consistency report as per timelines.

Preparation of SOPs, BPRs, protocol report and other documents required for R &D related activities

IQ, OQ and PQ of new equipment’s to be installed in downstream processing area.

Qualifications

PhD / M.SC in Biotechnology.

Having experience in Down Stream process (Protein Purification).

Preferably from R&D setup.

Post master's - 16+ Years of experience
