Job descriptionLooking for Workday FIN Functional Analyst with 5+ years of experience in an ERP platform with a proven track record of delivering successful projects at the enterprise level.Workday is preferred platform, Peoplesoft, Lawson, SAP, etc. also a plus.Workday Pro or Workday Partner Certification preferred.Strong understanding of business process optimization, and operational support tasks.Extensive experience in 3+ core FIN modules :AP, AR, GL, Billing, Customer Accounts, Contracts, Projects, Assets, Cash / CollectionsExtensive knowledge of 2+ FIN regulatory areas of concern :SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) – critical for Workday Financials; ensuring audit trails, change management, and proper approvals are configured.GAAP / IFRS Compliance – financial analysts / consultants should know how Workday supports accounting standards.ASC 606 / IFRS 15 – revenue recognition requirements in Workday Revenue Management.ASC 842 / IFRS 16 – lease accounting compliance within Workday.Audit & Internal Controls – Workday’s audit framework (business process monitoring, segregation of duties, reporting for auditors).GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) – for EU data subjects, ensuring proper handling of personal data within Workday.Handles sensitive data responsibly.Experience using agile methodologies and SDLC tools (Jira, ADO, etc.) required.Willingness to teach / mentor team members and drive excellence across your team.Exceptional judgment balancing short-term v. long-term business needs.Excellent communication and collaboration.
