As a Shopify Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless online shopping experiences and ensure the smooth functioning of Shopify-based websites. This role demands proficiency in web development, front-end technologies, and e-commerce best practices to enhance user engagement and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Build, customize, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce websites, ensuring they align with clients requirements and brand guidelines.
Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces that optimize user experience and conversion rates.
Customize Shopify themes to meet design and functionality specifications, including layout, navigation, and product presentation.
Implement and modify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create visually appealing and functional web pages.
Integrate and configure Shopify apps to enhance website functionality, such as payment gateways, inventory management, and marketing tools.
Ensure seamless communication between Shopify and third-party systems.
Monitor and optimize website performance, including page load times, site speed, and mobile responsiveness.
Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring website functionality across various browsers and devices.
Perform routine maintenance and updates to keep the website secure and up-to-date.
Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team and clients.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including coding standards, development processes, and system configurations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, Shopify updates, and web development technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and app integration.

Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

Familiarity with web design principles, responsive design, and UX / UI best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
