Job Description Facility Manager

Location : Noida

Department : Administration / Facility Management

Role Overview

The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical and non-technical

operations, maintenance, and infrastructure management across the facility. The role ensures

smooth functioning of all engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety,

and BMS, while maintaining safety, compliance, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily technical operations of the facility, covering HVAC, electrical,

plumbing, fire safety, and BMS systems.

  • Plan and implement preventive, corrective, and planned maintenance schedules to
  • ensure zero downtime.

  • Maintain and track AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) records for all critical assets
  • and equipment.

  • Ensure timely completion of all facility compliance activities, audits, and certifications,
  • with proper record management.

  • Drive sustainability initiatives and implement energy-efficient practices to enhance
  • operational performance.

  • Manage inventory of consumables, spare parts, and maintenance materials to ensure
  • optimal availability.

  • Prepare, monitor, and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring effective cost
  • control.

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and
  • project-related work.

  • Ensure full adherence to statutory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Lead and mentor the technical maintenance team, ensuring skill development and
  • performance excellence.

  • Maintain all maintenance records, equipment logs, and documentation aligned with
  • compliance and audit requirements.

  • Support facility audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Work closely with administration and operations teams to ensure seamless day-to-day
  • facility management.

    Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8–12 years of experience in facility technical operations, preferably in IT corporate or
  • commercial real estate.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and BMS systems.
  • Experience in vendor management, AMC handling, and preventive maintenance
  • planning.

  • Good understanding of facility compliance, audits, sustainability practices, and
  • documentation management.

  • Proficiency in inventory and budget management related to technical operations.
  • Familiarity with BMS, EMS, and energy management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
