Role - Prompt Engineer | Location - Mumbai | Company - Adfactors PR
We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Prompt Engineer to design, refine, and optimize prompts used across our generative AI-powered media analytics platform.
The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a deep curiosity for how language interacts with technology, and understanding of the PR and media domain. Prior PR experience is not mandatory — but an eagerness to learn the basics of domain is essential.
The Prompt Engineer will work closely with product and strategy teams to translate communication objectives into effective AI instructions. The role also involves evaluating AI outputs, maintaining prompt frameworks, and supporting internal teams in developing prompt literacy.
Key Responsibilities
Prompt Design & Optimization
Design, test, and refine prompts to ensure the AI produces insightful, high-quality, and contextually accurate outputs.
Experiment with prompt variations, structures, and strategies to improve creativity, relevancy, tone, and efficiency.
Continuously iterate based on output performance, user feedback, and evolving business needs.
Quality Evaluation & Analysis
Analyse AI-generated responses for tone, accuracy, depth, and alignment with brand voice.
Diagnose gaps or inconsistencies in outputs and optimize prompts accordingly.
Use structured testing methodologies to measure prompt performance and ensure continuous improvement.
Prompt Framework Development
Maintain a comprehensive repository of prompt templates, guidelines, and best practices.
Create modular, reusable prompt structures that support scalable deployment across different use cases.
Ensure consistent documentation to support quality control and team usage.
Research & Continuous Learning
Stay updated on advancements in generative AI, prompt engineering techniques, and LLM capabilities.
Experiment with new prompt strategies, features, and tools to improve system performance and reliability.
Evaluate emerging trends relevant to PR and content workflows that can enhance prompt effectiveness..

Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in prompt engineering, content strategy, PR writing, language modeling, or related fields.
Strong written communication and language skills; experience crafting content, scripts, or messaging is a plus.
Foundational understanding of PR, communications, or media workflows.
Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., LLMs, prompt design, applied NLP).
Demonstrated ability to analyse text outputs and iterate systematically.
Experience working in SaaS, analytics, PR-tech, or content-tech environments is an advantage.
