Job Description – WebSphere & JBoss Administrator

Role : WebSphere & JBoss Admin

Experience : 5–8 Years

Location : Mumbai, Maharashtra

Responsibilities

Administer WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and JBoss across AIX, Linux, and Windows servers.

Perform installation, upgrade, configuration, and tuning of WebSphere and JBoss .

Create and manage CSR / SSL certificates and configurations .

Handle user administration – creation, deletion, password changes.

Perform system patching, hardening, and performance tuning .

Monitor and analyze system and application logs for error detection and resolution.

Install and configure IBM WAS and IBM HTTP servers .

Troubleshoot and debug WebSphere / JBoss-related issues .

Provide daily performance and availability reports of servers.

Ensure availability and participation during Disaster Recovery (DR) drills .

Work in rotational 3-shift support environment.

Key Skills Required

Strong experience in WebSphere (WAS) administration on AIX / Linux / Windows.

Expertise in JBoss server administration .

Knowledge of SSL configuration, CSR creation, and server hardening .

Good troubleshooting and performance tuning skills .

Ability to work in shift-based support operations .
