Key Roles and Responsibilities :
Energy & Resource Efficiency :
Robust understanding of Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) Program of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), energy efficiency, low carbon technologies (LCTs), Net-Zero initiatives, and decarbonization techniques within large industries.
Provide hands-on support in implementing energy conservation measures across industries, MSMEs, and commercial establishments.
Project Management / Consultancy related to project monitoring, evaluation, reporting, coordination, development & support for implementation in sectors related to PAT scheme
Preparation of Policy related documents related to PAT scheme, under the guidance of ICF / Clients
Project Appraisal / Due-diligence, Monitoring and Reporting of energy performance of DCs under PAT scheme.
Coordination with external agencies / SDAs / Regulatory Authorities
Contribute valuable insights on the transfer and diffusion of energy-efficient and environmentally sound technologies within the industrial sector.
Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative research to inform strategic decision-making.
Other relevant areas
Lead project delivery on specific deliverables / engagements assigned by the Supervisor, within stipulated timeline, stretching when needed.
Manage a team of 5-10 professionals, overseeing both project-specific tasks and man-management responsibilities.
Demonstrate expertise in writing reports, making presentations, number-crunching & graphics / visualization.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
This is a Fixed Term contract role for 11 months, extendable by client based on project.
Skills and Abilities :
Education : Graduate / Post Graduate or equivalent in Engineering from a recognized University or Institution in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical / Production / Instrument Engineering from a recognized University or Institute
The Certified Energy Manager / Auditor (CEM / EA) of BEE shall be considered.
Other requirements : Only candidates willing to travel (20-30%) should apply. Candidates should have good writing skills in English.
Experience :
10+ years in a relevant field is required.
Preference will be given to individuals with experience in PAT related projects, conducting energy audits and technology assessment studies.
Candidates currently employed in energy departments within large industries, possessing a comprehensive understanding of energy issues in the industrial sector, are also encouraged to apply.
Experience of National & State level policy implementation in India on Energy Efficiency, Emission reduction & Climate change.
