Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled UFT Test Engineer with hands-on experience in functional automation testing using Micro Focus UFT (Unified Functional Testing) . The ideal candidate should have strong scripting knowledge in VBScript , experience in test automation frameworks , and the ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and desktop applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT .

Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Perform functional , regression , and integration testing .

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.

Prepare detailed test reports and document all testing activities.

Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to ensure test coverage.

Mandatory Key Skills :

UFT / QTP Automation Testing – Hands-on scripting and execution experience.

VBScript Programming – Strong coding skills for test script customization.

Test Framework Design – Keyword-driven, data-driven, and hybrid frameworks.

ALM / Quality Center Integration – Test management and defect tracking.

CI / CD Integration – Experience with Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.

(Optional but preferred) Basic SQL & API Testing Knowledge – For end-to-end validation.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / IT or related field.

Certification in HP UFT or Test Automation Tools (preferred).
