▷ [15h Left] Instrumentation Engineer – Turbine Valve Systems

Role Overview :

We are hiring a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to support the calibration and commissioning of turbine governing and stop valves, including HP / LP bypass systems. The role demands hands-on expertise in LVDT setup, servo valve calibration, and signal tracing for high-precision control systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform LVDT alignment and calibration as per valve stroke / travel

Calibrate servo / moog valves including zero and span settings

Trace and verify control signals for valve actuation and feedback

Assist in plotting linearity and hysteresis curves

Support commissioning team during live testing and validation

Maintain calibration records and assist in client documentation

Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols

Required Skills & Experience :

Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering

5+ years of experience in turbine valve instrumentation or similar domain

Proficiency in LVDT calibration, loop testing, and servo valve setup

Familiarity with Woodward / Siemens / ABB control systems (preferred)

Ability to interpret control drawings, OEM manuals, and calibration sheets

Strong troubleshooting and signal tracing skills

Additional Requirements :

Willingness to work on-site during AOH shutdown

Experience with data acquisition systems and calibration tools

Commitment to documentation and housekeeping standards
