Job Description – Vehicle Mechanic

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults and breakdowns promptly and effectively.
• Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance on commercial buses.
• Perform complex repairs and replacements, including engines, gearboxes, and other major components.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with ISO standards and local government safety regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

Gross Annual Salary : €17,251 – €26,000 (based on experience & skills).

Salary Structure : 13 salaries / year (12 months + Christmas bonus).

Annual Increment : COLA (~2%).

Working Hours : 40 hours / week (38 base + 2 hrs overtime).

Working Days : 5 out of 7.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage). Vocational training (ITI or equivalent) with relevant experience may be considered. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional workshop environment. Proven track record working with heavy vehicles, including buses and trucks. aExperience in engine and gearbox replacement procedures. English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
