Software Engineer II

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance backend services to support scalable search and data platforms.

Build and maintain data ingestion and indexing pipelines for search and recommendations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, experience

design, and quality engineering to deliver impactful solutions.

Apply strong software design and problem-solving skills to complex technical challenges.

Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed systems.

Contribute to functional testing, CI / CD pipelines, and continuous improvement of development

practices.

Stay adaptable and open to learning new technologies in a fast-evolving environment.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software engineering.

Proficiency in Java

Bachelor's degree (B.S. / B.E. / B.Tech.) in Computer Science or equivalent field.

Solid understanding of distributed systems and RESTful service development.

Hands-on experience in backend development and functional testing.

Strong foundation in software design principles.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Exposure to CI / CD workflows.

Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical details clearly.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
