Position : Senior Engineer, Chassis Structures

Role (Purpose of the job)

Senior Engineer for Frame rails, Cross member, Chassis Interfaces, Chassis ladder.

Key Responsibilities

• Take lead in design and development of frame rails, cross members, chassis interfaces and secure deliveries of chassis frame assembly.
• Participation in defining clear roadmap within responsible areas in line with organization's strategic interests and understanding in the broader business context .
• Innovative mindset and development of vehicles structures based on BEV / ICE / alternate energy propulsion systems.
• Handling of vehicle packaging, virtual durability verification and physical validation needs of respective system.
• Work on selecting raw materials, verification requirements thereof and handling of surface treatment requirements.
• Delivers value through supporting decision-making process even under ambiguity based on up-to-date market understanding, collaborates with suppliers to co-develop product solutions.
• Work closely with project managers and cross functional teams to anticipate process steps and risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Product maintenance : Solving quality issues and market support.
• Advanced engineering of system and components to meet future demand.
• Engineering documentation of drawings, technical requirement, functional specification and managing change.
