Job description

Job Purpose :

To execute marketing and business development strategies within the assigned region, with a strong focus on increasing Assets Under Management (AUM), driving investor engagement, and managing distribution through banks and national distributors.

Key Responsibility Areas :

  • Business Development :
  • Drive AUM growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets for mutual fund investments.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand investor outreach in untapped regions.
  • Distribution Management :
  • Manage and support business through banks and national distributors .
  • Provide strategic and operational support to distribution partners and investors.
  • Marketing & Promotion :
  • Promote UTI Mutual Fund schemes and ensure distributor / investor awareness of product offerings.
  • Educate stakeholders on mutual fund industry trends and scheme performance.
  • Sales Force Management :
  • Motivate and guide the sales team toward performance targets.
  • Provide continuous support, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement :
  • Collect feedback from distribution partners and investors to enhance product and service offerings.
  • Organize investor and agent meets, participate in financial fairs, and conduct training sessions.
  • Strategic Planning :
  • Develop future business strategies based on regional market dynamics and investor profiles.
  • Stay vigilant of market trends and regulatory changes to proactively address business needs.
  • Operational Oversight :
  • Ensure timely fund collections and oversee the smooth administration of branch operations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support management information systems (MIS) generation.
  • Candidate Profile :
  • Education :
  • UG : Any Graduate
  • PG : Any Postgraduate
  • Key Skills & Attributes :
  • Sound knowledge of mutual funds and investment products
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Experience managing distributors, banks, or third-party channels
  • Ability to analyze regional markets and develop tailored growth strategies
  • Proactive and performance-driven mindset
