Job Description

Reporting to the COE MM Director, the SAP MM Lead will support Material Management function. This role involves leading the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP MM processes and systems to ensure that business requirements are met efficiently. This ideal candidate should be well-versed in the configuration of SAP. Strong functional knowledge in Accounting and Costing will be essential to success. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP MM-related activities.
• Develop and implement the best practices, standards, and guidelines for SAP MM processes.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand business requirements and then develop and map solutions in the SAP system.
• Configure end-to-end SAP MM processes including Procurement (Purchase requisition, Purchase order, Pricing procedure, Release Strategy, Output type etc.), Inventory Management (Goods receipt, Transfer posting, etc.) and Invoice Verification.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end integration and solutioning.
• Oversee the SAP MM module during system upgrades, enhancements, and support packs.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Ensure effective collaboration between MM COE and other SAP COEs (e.g., FICO, SD, PP, QM, PM) and business units.
• Manage up-to-date documentation for all SAP MM processes and configurations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
