Culinary Expert / Chef – Recipe Development for Cooking Appliances

We are seeking a passionate Culinary Expert or Chef to create, test, and optimize

recipes tailored for innovative kitchen appliances such as air fryers, blenders,

grills, cookers, and multi-functional devices.

The role blends culinary creativity with a consumer-centric, product-focused

approach — transforming appliance features into easy, delicious, and aspirational

recipes that inspire home cooks.

Key Responsibilities :

 Recipe Development & Testing

o Create India-relevant, easy-to-follow recipes showcasing the

appliance’s core functions.

o Adapt global recipes to suit Indian taste profiles and ingredients.

o Conduct multiple test iterations for taste, consistency, and cooking

performance.

 Content Creation & Presentation

o Collaborate with marketing and content teams to prepare recipes for

photography, video shoots, and influencer campaigns.

o Write clear, engaging recipe copy with preparation steps, tips, and

nutritional info (where relevant).

o Demonstrate appliances in recipe videos or workshops when needed.

 Product Collaboration

o Work closely with product marketing and R&D teams to highlight

unique features and advantages of each appliance.

o Provide feedback on appliance usability, cooking performance, and

recipe compatibility.

o Help define key recipe themes and hero dishes for new product

launches.

 Consumer Insight Integration

o Research food trends, local cuisines, and modern cooking habits.

o Adapt recipes for regional relevance (North, South, East, West India)

and dietary preferences (vegetarian, low-oil, high-protein, etc.).

Ideal Background :

 Professional culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution (e.g.,

IHM, Le Cordon Bleu, etc.).

 3–8 years of experience in :

o Culinary R&D / test kitchen / food innovation roles

o Recipe development for appliance brands, FMCG, or digital food

platforms

o Hotel or restaurant kitchen operations (optional but preferred)

 Familiarity with modern Indian cooking trends, healthy eating, and home

cooking appliances.

 Strong understanding of recipe scaling, testing, and documentation.

Skills & Attributes :

 Passionate about food innovation and modern home cooking.

 Hands-on comfort with appliances (air fryers, grills, ovens, blenders,

multicookers, etc.).

 Creative flair with strong attention to detail.

 Excellent written and spoken communication in English (and Hindi / regional

language preferred).

 Ability to work with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, R&D,

influencers).

 Comfortable appearing on camera for recipe demos or social content (optional

but a plus)
