Job Title : Senior SAP Security & Cloud Operations Consultant

Location : Remote

Engagement Type : Fulltime

Start Date : Immediate / Within 2–4 weeks

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Security & Cloud Operations Consultant to support a large-scale SAP transformation program spanning both on-premise and cloud-based systems (AWS, BTP). This role is ideal for professionals with deep technical expertise across SAP security, system monitoring, BTP integration, and HANA operations in complex, hybrid landscapes.

You will join a cross-functional operations team responsible for the security posture, system health, and compliance of an extensive SAP environment. This includes involvement in incident management, vulnerability assessments, and proactive system monitoring across SAP ECC, HANA, BTP, and various integrated subsystems.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor SAP systems and SAP BTP services on a daily basis
Manage and resolve security and operations-related incidents
Conduct vulnerability scans and apply remediation best practices
Support SAP authorization and role management, including SSO implementations
Coordinate with internal ITSM, ISMS, and SOC teams
Maintain and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure (SAP on AWS, BTP)
Administer SAP Cloud Connector, WebDispatcher, LiveCache, and TREX
Operate and tune HANA platform tools (Studio, Cockpit, DB Manager)
Leverage SAP monitoring tools (e.g., Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Introscope, UXMON)
Participate in emergency support rotations and compliance controls
Ensure up-to-date and audit-ready documentation in English

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP security and system operations

Strong background in SAP Authorization Management and GRC principles

Expertise in SAP BTP security and cloud integrations

Proficient in SAP monitoring tools such as Cloud ALM, Introscope, UXMON / Nagios

Experience with hybrid SAP environments (on-premise + AWS / BTP)

Deep understanding of HANA platform administration and performance / security tuning

Familiarity with ITSM processes, SOC collaboration, and vulnerability management tools

Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus (especially for documentation)

Nice to Have

Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries

Knowledge of Fiori Frontend Server, SAP Gateway, or APO Optimizer

Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler or asynchronous file transfers (RVS)

Understanding of ABAP code profiling and data pipeline security
