Qualifications
- Undergraduate from a top-tier institute (This role is not for Postgraduates)
- 1-3 years of work experience from a top-tier firm in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting or a lending business (This is a front-end role. Open to back-office and mid-office prople)
- Experience in building financial models and pitch decks
- Strong research capabilities and ability to handle large data sets
- Analytical mindset, with experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
- Proactive with a deep desire to work hard, learn quickly
- Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential matters with discretion
- Experience in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Building pitch decks, IMs from scratch
- (Preferred, not a must have : SQL, Python)
- (Preferred, not a must have : Understanding of lending / financial service companies' financial models, KPIs)
Responsibilities
Support investor relations, and strategic initiatives including new products, partnerships, and investment opportunitiesWork on debt and equity deals, draft term sheets, NDAs and other agreementsOpportunity to interact with leading investors, banks, FIs and negotiate in the deal phaseWork on financial models and valuationsWork on MIS and answer investor queries related to itCollaborate with internal teams such as Product, Operations, Finance, HR and other stakeholdersAnalyze loan portfolio performance, revenue, costs, profitability, KPIs, and forecastsConsolidate business plans and review them with senior leadershipDevelop strategic communication for shareholders, board, regulators, and industry bodiesEvaluate and execute inorganic growth opportunities including M&A and strategic partnershipsDesign and track KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports to identify gaps and opportunitiesWork directly with the senior leadership
