Overview :

We are seeking a Senior backend Software Engineer to join our world-class Database Engineering organization.

This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of a suite of industry-leading database performance monitoring and related applications.

These products improve the quality of life for database professionals by providing best-in-class performance monitoring and productivity solutions across multiple database platforms, whether in the cloud or on-prem.

This position will be ideal for you if you enjoy building enterprise solutions that are architected for high scale, reliability, security, and performance, are adept at developing upon requirements through delivery to impact customers on a global scale, and are also able to upskill the engineering organization by example.

You should be excited to work with multiple tech stacks, solving complicated problems on multiple products and platforms.

In this role, you will technically lead the development of our existing industry-leading solutions and help define the future of our database capabilities on our new Full Stack Observability SaaS platform.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implementation of proof of concepts and productized features that leverage new database capabilities.
• Embrace engineering practices through a broad approach to engineering quality (consistent and thoughtful patterns, improved observability, unit and integration testing, etc.
• Think outside of the current technology / stack limitations to push the boundaries of what is possible and deliver feasible solutions collaboratively.
• Promote a culture of engineering excellence and strengthen the database technical expertise of our engineering and product teams.
• Partner with product leaders to understand customer pain points and market opportunities and translate them into clear and robust engineering solutions.
