About the Company : Our client company is a leading global manufacturer in the chemical and packaging sector, specializing in sustainable solutions that support industries worldwide.

Job Summary : The client company is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as a Senior Tax Analyst in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will support the Tax Consolidation Manager in establishing an efficient tax function.

What will be expected from you?

Direct Tax - Must.

Experience working with Federal and Texas State Tax.

Tax Nexus management.

Withholding Tax Compliance (1042 filing etc.)

Sales and Use Tax - compliance and experience - Must.

Collaborate with consultants on property tax assessments, gradually building proficiency and understanding of the process.

Experience with Tax Planning - transfer pricing and R&D incentives

Canada VAT filings (Outsourced). Liaison will be needed.

Liaison with Bangkok GHQ and Charlotte Regional tax office is implied as the case may be.

Cross culture / Cross time zone experience preferred.

Work on tax related business processes efficiently.

High quality analytics of tax positions for global tax footprints.

High quality information system supported by SAP, OTP, Consolidation modules

Support structure for 100% compliance with laws of land.

Work on OTP and Consolidation modules to automate and enhance the accuracy of data flow.

Target 100% accurate tax accounting.

Tax optimization.

Optimize without compromising compliance requirements.

Foster mutual trust and confidence with indirect subordinates, consultants.

CA qualified (mandatory)
