Qualification : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustical Engineering / Architectural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / or a related field

Roles & Responsibilities
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of concepts and best practices in the field of Architectural Acoustics with clear understanding on the fundamentals and Basic Principles.
- Conduct acoustic analyses for architectural and building projects, including : Reverberation Time (RT) calculations, Indoor and outdoor noise propagation modeling, Sound insulation and transmission loss evaluation.
- Use simulation software (e.g., ODEON, EASE, SoundPLAN, CadnaA, INSUL, etc.) to model acoustical performance of spaces and environments.
- Provide design recommendations on material specification / finishes for sound absorption, sound insulation, & outdoor noise mitigation.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and relevant project teams to integrate acoustic solutions into building design.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and project stakeholders.
- Creatively develop and present technical materials; represent L&T at technical forums and conferences.
- Conduct design / tender reviews to ensure compliance of acoustics requirement as per client specification / relevant standards & codes.
- Awareness on the building acoustic requirements corresponding to various green building rating systems such as LEED, IGBC & GRIHA.
Required Skills
2+ years of professional experience in Architectural / Building AcousticsProficiency in acoustical modeling software such as : ODEON, EASE, INSUL, etc. other similar tools.Basic understanding of MEP systems and equipment's, particularly HVAC systems.Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.Strong organizational, analytical, and technical report writing skills.Professional Green Building accreditations such as LEED AP, WELL AP, IGBC AP, GRIHA CP are a plus.Skills Required
