Job description

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote (Senior) Power Platform Solution Architect with +8 years of experience.

We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

The scope of work for the Power Platform Solution Architect covers the full software development lifecycle for building and integrating enterprise applications using the Power Platform and related technologies, also providing support with solution envisioning, solution designs. Key activities include :

Analysis & Design :

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and the project team to gather requirements and understand user stories for process automation and application needs.
  • Design comprehensive solution architectures and technical approaches for Power Platform solutions (Power Automate flows, Model-driven apps, Power BI integrations) that meet business requirements and adhere to WBG’s enterprise architecture standards.
  • Develop high-level and low-level design documents, including architecture diagrams, data models, and workflow designs.
  • Ensure the solution design incorporates security best practices and standard authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, Azure AD App Registrations, etc.) in line with the Bank’s IT policies.

Development & Implementation :

  • Develop robust Power Automate flows and Power Apps to automate processes, including scheduled jobs, bulk data updates to Dataverse, and integrations with Office 365 services (SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive) and enterprise systems via Integration Hub connectors or APIs.
  • Implement custom scripts to handle complex business logic and validations on the server side that cannot be achieved with standard Power Platform configurations.
  • Write clean, optimized, and maintainable code following the Bank’s coding standards and best practices. Perform code optimization to ensure high performance of Power Apps and efficient operation of flows and plugins.
  • Utilize the Power Platform’s core framework and reusable components wherever possible to accelerate development, and contribute to the creation of reusable components for future use by the team.

    • Testing :

  • Develop unit tests, use approved tools to validate the functionality, components and ensure quality of the code.
  • Conduct integration testing of the end-to-end solution, verifying that Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Dataverse, and integrated systems all work together seamlessly according to the requirements.
  • Identify and fix any performance or reliability issues to ensure the final application is responsive and scalable for enterprise use.

    • Profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree;

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise application design, development, and implementation.

    Hands-on expertise in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).

    Strong experience in Canvas and Model-Driven app development, Power Platform environments, licensing, connectors, DLP policies, reusable components, and security roles.

    Proven experience in Dataverse plugin development using C# / .NET and Power Platform tools.

    Skilled in backend automation, bulk data operations, and integration with SharePoint, Office 365, and enterprise systems.

    Solid understanding of Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus), authentication protocols (OAuth, App Registration), and modern security practices.

    Experience with Azure DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, and ALM for Power Platform.

    Familiarity with Dynamics 365 domain and Microsoft enterprise technologies.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to optimize performance and resolve technical issues.

    Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.

    Collaborative team player with experience working across global teams; proactive and organized.

    Agile / Scrum delivery experience with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment.

    Experience to conduct A / B testing and other evaluation strategies to measure the impact of delivered solutions on business outcomes.
