Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Kanpur. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Daily tasks include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, handling tax matters, and providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making. The role also involves coordinating with external auditors and financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial management, accounting principles, and bookkeeping
• Experience in preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance
• Strong skills in accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, and tax management
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred
• Experience in the retail or jewellery industry is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
